WORCESTER - Anna Leseman - like many of the descendants of the Lithuanian immigrants who founded St. Casimir Church on Providence Street 114 years ago - said her 93-year-old life has been tightly entwined with that of her parish.

She was baptized and married in the twin-towered brick church, attended the now-closed parish school, and took part in liturgical events as a choir member and cantor.

Just a drive past the church would invoke family memories, including those of her dead brother.
