DAGUPAN CITY, June 26 (PNA) -- The Philippine National Red Cross (PNRC) collected 132 bags of blood from 137 donors during a mass blood donation on Wednesday to commemorate the Red Cross Month. The activity, conducted at the Big Atrium of the CSI the City Mall, also celebrated the 150th Year of the Battle of Solferino in 1859, where Jean Henri Dunant founded the first Red Cross.
