Negros Oriental mulls collaboration with Negros Occidental on illegal shipment of quarry resources.

DUMAGUETE CITY, June 24 (PNA) -- The provincial government of Negros Oriental is hoping it could come up with a joint coordinated plan with its neighbor, Negros Occidental, on preventing the illegal shipment of mineral and other quarry resources outside of the island.

Provincial Legal Counsel Erwin Vergara stressed the need for collaboration between the two provinces who share common boundaries, considering that Negros Island is rich in mineral resources.
