Q My 10-year-old son, Evan, has become fascinated with fossils since his grandparents bought land on the Ausable river at Hungry Hollow in south western Ontario. He and his best friend often bring home interesting rocks and fossils. Recently, they found one that I'm unable to identify. I thought the first specimen was a geologic anomaly but the boys brought home two more, and showed me others in larger rocks. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
