IT'S AN ill wind that blows no-one any good and the old adage certainly rings true for the Great British holiday. While overseas destinations are singing the credit crunch blues, many UK destinations are on a recession-defying high.
Places like Dorset are reaping the harvest and a week's self-catering spent there was enough to confirm that staying in Britain can be an absolute winner.
