WOMEN shearers were among competitors for the first time in 20 years at the annual Gelligaer and District Sheep Shearing Match.
The event, at Church Farm, Mynyddislwyn, was by kind permission of Mr and Mrs Steve Powell, who had designed and built a shearing stage.
