A wastewater treatment facility located in the central Anatolia province of Konya will soon operate at full capacity to treat Konyas domestic wastewater that flows into the Salt Lake Basin.
Hasan Kucukaydin, deputy head of the provincial department of environment and forestry, said for the last 15 years, because of insufficient rainfall, only domestic waste could reach the lake.
