The National Resource Conservation Service (NRCS), with the help of the National Association of Conservation Districts examined the effectiveness of the CITYgreen software through the evaluation of 50 localities. Among the districts under observation include Lawrence, PA and Santa Monica Mountains.

When the former Soil Conservation Service rethought its way of helping localities, it came up with 50 good reasons why computer mapping does the trick.
