Oooo! Ark! Grr! What are those sounds? It's a Tasmanian devil! It lives in the wild in only one place in the world, the Island State of Tasmania, just south of mainland Australia.
Years ago, early settlers in Tasmania heard those strange noises in the night and walked outside to investigate. They saw bright red ears and a big mouth full of teeth. The settlers thought it looked like the "devil" and ran back into their houses!
