Qinqhai Salt Lake Potash lowers potassium chloride price.(New Setup, Agreement & Plan)

Qinghai Salt Lake Potash Co., Ltd. (SZ: 000792), China's largest potassium fertilizer maker, said on May 8th to cut ex-factory prices of potassium chloride since this April due to weak market demand.

Sales prices for the company's potassium chloride declined to RMB3 250 a ton in April from RMB3 800 in March, down 14.47%. The company quoted at RMB3 700 a ton for its potassium chloride (60%, powder) in May.

"Potassium fertilizer demand is sluggish in domestic market. Traders are not keen to sourcing but always capping inventories," said an industry insider.
