NARVIK, Norway, May 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Monuments of War - Battle of Narvik 1940 are a number of monuments raised between Bardufoss and Narvik in Northern Norway in order to commemorate the battle of Narvik 1940. The route has also been given the name after the Norwegian General Fleischer, who as the commander of 6th Division was the first to defeat units from Nazi-Germany during World War II.
