Manipur University Professor shot dead, Governor, Cabinet condemn.

Imphal, May. 25 -- Dr Mohd Islamuddin, Professor Economics, Manipur University, Canchipur was shot dead today by unknown armed people near the library of the University .

Police said three unknown armed people had fired at Islamuddin near the library . Islamuddin was also serving as the Dean of Students Prof Islamuddin earlier . The body of the Professor was taken to Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) and later to the MU campus. The Chief Minister, O Ibobi Singh, state government , Manipur University officials and large number of students visited the RIMS ...
