Dec. 5--Pan Am Air Bridge, the 78-year-old seaplane carrier based at Watson Island, is getting a new majority investor: Air Alaska, a Dallas-based aircraft leasing company.

And the link could lead the seaplane venture into the land-based airline business, by offering commuter service in Florida and the Caribbean.
