The Arabs interacted with the Axis as early as 1933 when they appealed for the cessation of policies on Jewish immigration to Palestine and logistical support versus the UK. The Axis' imperialist motives, however, did not elicit immediate response to the appeals. German leaders were interested with only Europe and Soviet as they left the Arab world to the Italians.
