The Rev. Antonio Otzoy is a theologian and the general secretary of a Maya-Presbyterian fellowship in Guatemala. He was also a delegate to the World Council of Churches' Conference on World Mission and Evangelism. Rev. Otzoy notes that when Bible studies are done in their church, a person expresses his views while the rest merely listen and are silent. As he took part in a Bible study in the conference, he became aware that the activity can become a medium for community-building.
