Div II Cricket: Kathalbagan emerge as champions.

Dhaka, May 15 -- Kathalbagan GCC emerged as the champions of the Second Division Cricket League when they beat the runners-up Gopibagh FA by five runs in the final match at the Dhanmondi Cricket Stadium on Thursday.

Deciding to bat first, Kathalbagan GCC made a fighting total of 209 for the loss of nine wickets in the regulation 50 overs and then they bowled out Gopibagh FA for 204 off 49.4 overs. Kathalbagan lost their early six wickets for 96 runs. Later, Salehur Rahman and Hossain Sohag rescued their team from debacle adding together 91 runs in the seventh wicket ...
