AFTER their ten-wicket defeat inside three days at Lord's last week, the West Indies have had little opportunity to regroup for today's second Test at the Riverside Ground in Durham.

With the tourists in dire need of leadership, Chris Gayle's comments about giving up the captaincy and the demise of Test match cricket have hardly helped.

And the Windies can forget about any assistance from the elements. A chilly, cloudy few days are forecast for the north- east - just the kind of conditions that England exploited to perfection ...
