Introduction

Introduced and native plants may interact through shared pollinators, resulting in a variety of ecological and evolutionary consequences. Interspecific competition for pollination can lead to competitive displacement or selection on a variety of traits to minimize competitive effects, including divergence in flowering phenology or floral morphology (Rathcke 1983; Waser 1983; Hansen et al. 2000).
