India to have place in UN Security Council: PM.

Mumbai, Apr. 13 -- Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today said India will definitely get a place in the Security Council of United Nations (UN).
''We will be in UN Security Council,'' said Mr Singh while addressing a gathering of industrialists and eminent personalities at a function organised by Mumbai Regional Congress Committee (MRCC).
''We now have improved relations with nuclear powers and the country is going ahead,'' he added.
Dr Singh stressed that the government would make efforts to strengthen the security and intelligence of the country.
