Callaway Golf Co. had a club missing in its golf bag. Not anymore.

The Carlsbad golf giant announced last week it would purchase neighbor Odyssey Sports, Inc. In the $130 million deal, Callaway will add Odyssey's top-selling putters to its line of Big Bertha metal woods and irons.

The agreement is expected to become final by the end of next month.

Operations at Odyssey, which recently opened a manufacturing plant in Carlsbad, are expected to stay the same.
