NO mother should ever outlive their own child, but 40 Scots mums lose their baby to cot death every year. In 2007, Joanna Reekie was one of them.
Just 16 months after losing her baby girl Mackenzie Colligan in her sleep, Joanna, from Falkland, in Fife, is speaking out to raise awareness of sudden infant death syndrome and the charity that's raising money to fund research into the causes.
It was during the night on November 7, 2007, that Joanna's life was shattered.
