CROWN POINT, Ind.--Oct. 10--Mayor James Metros is preparing to take the city to the international league.

Metros will fly to Macedonia Oct. 22 to meet with President Kiro Gligorov, who visited Crown Point in June.

After the meeting, Metros and Macedonian officials will announce Crown Point's counterpart in an international Sister City program.

But Metros says he is eyeing something more than trading a few mementos and stately dinners.
