Silverweed (Anserinae herba), tormentil (Tormentillae rhizoma), agrimony (Agrimoniae herba), alchemilla (Alchemillae herba), and wild strawberry (Fragariae folium) are tannin-containing pharmaceutical products (herbal medicinal products) from the Rosaceae family. Three of them, tormentil, agrimony, and alchemilla, are listed in the current editions of the European Pharmacopoeia and their quality is determined by tannins content expressed as pyrogallol (spectrophotometric method).
