As the retail battle for consumers' disposable dollars intensifies, in-store presentation continues to be an increasingly critical issue for home products makers, and manufacturers of flat-packed furniture are no exception.

"With the increasingly high-styled look of today's ready-to-assemble designs, proper in-store presentations become more and more important to attracting customers and selling products," observed Kevin Sauder, vice president of sales and marketing for Sauder, the nation's sixth largest furniture maker.
