Your Web site is going to be pretty important, if it isn't already. It can excel at many things, from automating the processing of orders to accelerating the communications between you and your suppliers. But one thing your Web site can't (and won't ever) do on its own is eliminate or reduce the need for good, old fashioned planning.

I've met several folks who've been perfectly satisfied having a Web site up and running for its own sake. They feel that they re in the game and, since no one knows exactly where this thing is going, they're ready to react to change quicker ...
