KANSAS CITY, Mo. _ A slumping Japan has decided that it must undergo an economic revolution to become less bureaucratic and more open to foreign businesses, says Kunihiko Saito, Japan's ambassador to the United States.
``We have come to the conclusion that it is in our own best interests,'' he said. ``We must internationalize our economic system, because that is the only way to survive in a global economy.''
