CANBERRA, April 3 Asia Pulse - A move to cut production at Holden's Adelaide plant will provide certainty for the car parts sector, the union representing the company's workers says.

Holden plans to cut the number of cars it produces at the facility from about 600 to just over 300 a day.

The decision has reportedly been negotiated with the government and unions to provide certainty for workers and manufacturers.

Holden will merge morning and afternoon shifts at the plant into ...
