The US must work to develop a lasting peace with Russia, and the issue of NATO membership for Eastern European countries is a touchy subject. If NATO grows without including Russia, Russia may develop stronger alliances with China. Several nations are discussed.
As NATO spreads to the East, Russia may decide to look eastward as well.
