Pres Bill Clinton met with EU leaders in the Hague, the Netherlands for the semiannual EU-US summit on the new transatlantic agenda. The chief executive commended the Netherlands, as current president of the EU, for its leadership in promoting cooperation throughout the continent. The agenda aims to generate international cooperation in removing trade barriers and combating international crime, terrorism, nuclear proliferation and drug trafficking.
