Vencor Inc., a long-term healthcare provider, has entered into a partnership with the insurance company CNA to develop a new long-term-care (LTC) insurance policy that will be named Vencor Gold. Vencor Gold, which the partners plant to market in Fall 1997, will be targeted to people over the age of 50 seeking a LTC supplement to Medicare and Medicaid coverage. The policy will be underwritten and marketed by CNA, which will pass on 50% of the profits to Vencor.
