SAN FRANCISCO -- Patients receiving erlotinib-based therapy for metastatic pancreatic cancer are less likely to experience progression and to die if they develop a rash, Dr. Eric Van Cutsem reported at the annual gastrointestinal cancers symposium sponsored by the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
The finding comes from a second look at data generated by the placebo-controlled phase III AViTA trial.
