HOUSTON, June 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Ten additional officers of the proposed USX-Marathon Oil Company / Ashland Inc. refining, marketing and transportation joint venture were announced today by J.L. (Corky) Frank, designated president of the joint venture company.
The two companies signed a letter of intent in May to pursue a combination of the major elements of their refining, marketing and transportation operations under which Marathon would have a 62 percent ownership and Ashland would have 38 percent. The joint venture's headquarters will be in Findlay, Ohio.
