An Atlanta woman whose 8-month-old daughter choked to death on a cockroach last year in the public housing apartment where they lived has filed a lawsuit against the Atlanta Housing Authority seeking $2.5 million.
The mother, Shawntello Young, says in the suit that she and her daughter, Tameka, lived in a rundown apartment at Perry Homes in northwest Atlanta, and the housing authority, despite complaints, failed to keep the apartments safe ...
