I'm not good at making friends. What should I do?

A smile and a friendly "Hi!" are good ways to start a conversation. Talk about things going on at school and find out what the other person's interests are. If you have things in common, your friendship will probably grow.

It may be hard at first to feel comfortable starting a conversation. Remember that other people feel uncomfortable, too. Focus on putting the other person at ease, and you may forget your own discomfort.
