The Ministry of the Environment & Natural Resources and the Santiago Water & Sewer Corp. (CORAASAN) have begun construction of a park and an ecological corridor along the Beltway Avenue that borders the north bank of the Yaque River that runs through the city of Santiago, reports Diario Libre (Jan. 22, 2009).
