Ella Fitzgerald's estate makes donations to Smithsonian and the Library of Congress.

Roy Brown Jr. son of Ella Fitzgerald, announced the donation of memorabilia from his famous mother to the two national institutions. Among the items donated were a collection of keys given to honor her by the many cities she visited, paintings, fan letters, clothes and medals.
