We recently upgraded our word processing software here at the office, leading to an update of the program's less-than-adequate spell checking dictionary. Obviously, we had to re-program words like "nonwoven," "spunbond," "needlepunch" and the names of all of the top nonwovens companies that we write about month after month (as well as plurals of all but the most common words). However, the new spell checking system also did not recognize a plethora of new words that have become part of the U.S. - and actually international - vocabulary of today.
