Nearly 400 Steinway artists and guests attended a gala celebration at Steinway Hall in New York City on September 29 for the unveiling of the newest addition to the Steinway art collection, a portrait of Arthur Rubinstein. Painted by Jacob Collins, one of the most sought-after young American portrait artists of today, the portrait was presented as a gift from former Steinway & Sons owners Robert and John Birmingham.
