THE WEST Midlands is not known for its sun-kissed shores and all-night beach parties - which is why a group of Birmingham music fans decided to move to Croatia.

Three Birmingham music industry stalwarts - including UB40 drummer Jimmy Brown - have set up a dance music festival in an idylic setting on the coast of the Adriatic Sea.

Even though many will not have heard of it - until recently it's been promoted exclusively by word of mouth - it attracts big-name acts and has made waves in the industry.
