PITTSBURGH, May 9 /PRNewswire/ -- The Mon Valley Initiative's (MVI) 1997 Spring Conference will center around one objective: what can be done to create more jobs in the Mon Valley region of Western Pennsylvania. The seminar, being held May 9 and 10 at Linden Hall, 20 minutes outside of Pittsburgh in Perryopolis, will unite members from MVI's 17 community development corporations (CDCs), who hope to find ways to attract new commercial and industrial firms to the Valley.
