I got an e-mail from Captain Hollywood this morning. I can see his position from where I sit at my computer, a red pushpin in the middle of the Bering Sea on my wall map.

"Weather is calmer now ... some big ass waves yesterday, ears popping on the crests from the altitude ... glad that's out of the way."

I reply with a sniveling report about being snowbound here in Outer Ballard. "So what's going on up there?" I finally ask.
