AUSTIN, Texas -- In the course of routine surveillance, Fitch Ratings affirms the 'A' rating on Nacogdoches County Hospital District, Texas' (the district) $26.4 million sales tax bonds. The Rating Outlook is Stable.
The bonds are special limited obligations of the district payable and secured by the district's 1% sales and use tax. Proceeds of the bonds were used for hospital expansion, renovations and improvements, and to refund a portion of the district's outstanding debt for interest cost savings.
