LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 18, 1997--Minerva Systems Inc. announced today the Minerva Publisher-DVD(TM), the first desktop MPEG compression system designed for emerging DVD-Video and DVD-ROM applications such as corporate training, business-to-business communications, education, edutainment and reference works.

Current users of Minerva Publisher can upgrade their MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 systems to Minerva Publisher-DVD while retaining all capabilities of their present systems.
