Air cargo companies' export shipments will rise 13.5% during 1997, compared to 1996 figures, according to the Colography Group. US air cargo shipments will increase 14.2% during this same period. However, there will be a decrease in revenues because of overcapacity. Growth will especially occur in the less-than-truckload and ground parcel carriers market.
Air carriers will get the call to handle more cargo this year, according to a recent report from The Colography Group.
