Integrated learning patterns: a comparison of individualist and collectivist cultures.

ABSTRACT

In this study we describe the conceptual development of an integrated learning-pattern and its empirical validation. The generated model is grounded on the fields of behaviorism as well as cognitivism and incorporates the transfer of tacit and explicit knowledge between individuals on three increasingly complex levels: combination, diffusion, and autopoiesis. We tested this model within different cultures collecting data from a German and a Chinese sample.
