THURROCK S schools could benefit from a [pounds sterling]180 million cash injection to create a bright, modern learning environment.
Thurrock Council s Cabinet agreed on Wednesday January 21 to apply for the Government s Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programme.
The council has already submitted an expression of interest in the scheme to the Government and now the Cabinet has confirmed its support.
There are 10 secondary schools involved.
