The American Association of Public Welfare Attoneys held its 41st Annual Conference in Minneapolis on Sept 21-24 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel with some 160 attendees. The meeting featured 28 substantive sessions on legal developments as well as business meetings and networking opportunities.

The association kicked off the conference with a plenary session on the latest litigation in Medicaid, TANF, child support and child welfare cases across the nation. The keynote address was presented by Justice Paul Anderson of the Minnesota Supreme Court, and was followed by ...
