David Getson has launched a bimonthly magazine targeting upscale young men aged 25 to 34. The publication debuts in Mar 1997 with an initial printrun of 100,000. Icon features profiles of successful men and several regular departments tailored to the lifestyles of young men. Despite Getson's initial printrun, many industry experts are skeptical about the magazine's ability to attract its target audience.
