ST. LOUIS, Jan. 31 /PRNewswire/ -- McDonnell Douglas (NYSE: MD) has named Walter J. Orlowski as president of Douglas Aircraft Company, its commercial aircraft unit in Long Beach, Calif. Orlowski, 53, had been vice president- general manager of the unit. The change is effective Feb. 1.
