In honor of Thanksgiving, and the first President to declare it a national holiday, the National Park Foundation (NPF) and the National Trust for Historic Preservation (NTHP) joined History(TM) today in Hodgenville, KY to celebrate Lincoln's legacy and unveil GIVE A LINCOLN FOR LINCOLN(TM) -- a year-long initiative by History(TM) to encourage Americans to donate Lincoln-head pennies, five dollar bills, or make larger contributions to help preserve six key sites associated with Lincoln's life and legacy.
